Let go of resentment

Transformation Today

By Victor Adeyemi

“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice” Ephesians 4:31 (KJV)

There are people who miss out on their purpose as a result of resentment. They hold on to past hurt and they are reluctant to get involved with anybody because of their fear of getting hurt. For such people, resentment limits their ability to fulfil their purpose.

You should never allow resentment to keep you from getting into beneficial relationships. Purpose cannot be achieved in isolation. You need people. Don’t drive them away or cut off from significant relationships simply because you have been hurt before.

Resentment will hurt you more than the person you resent. Resentment also forestalls purpose. God has a great plan for your life. Don’t let resentment prevent that great plan from manifesting in your life.

Stay blessed.

Confession

I will not allow resentment to keep me from fulfilling my purpose.
