THE ANSWER IS LOOKING FOR YOU

“Lady Wisdom goes out in the street and shouts. At the town center she makes her speech. In the middle of the traffic she takes her stand. At the busiest corner she calls out:”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭1:20-21‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Although Google does not share exact numbers, as reported by SEOTribunal.com, Google handles 3.8 million searches per minute on average across the globe. That comes out to 228 million searches per hour, 5.6 billion searches per day, or 2 trillion searches per year.

This is a reflection of how much people are in search of information.

YouTube processes more than 3 billion searches a month. 100 hours of video are uploaded every minute. It’s bigger than Bing, Yahoo!, Ask and AOL combined. This generates massive amounts of data at the last mile. That more than SD-WAN technology can tame.

The above statistics are mind boggling and yet reflect the yearning of the human heart for information. Unfortunately, many are searching for foolishness like Solomon did ages ago. He searched for foolishness so he could compare it with the wisdom of God but many people in the world search for foolishness in the deception that it is wisdom. This fact began in the garden of Eden where Satan cast an aspersion on the integrity of God’s wisdom in commanding abstinence from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, a knowledge that will replace the knowledge of God and His wisdom alone(Genesis 3.1-5). It’s a privilege that we have as God’s children, to be desirous of the right kind of wisdom.

Several times in my Christian journey, I have only found myself in the need for wisdom but in doubt of it when I received it. Direction is something multitudes of believers lack and are seeking. The order of God in the New Testament is that His Word and His Spirit be our guide. However, multitudes of believers lack the faith to believe God for guidance and therefore rely on prophetic guidance to the degree that many are led by false prophets who use familiar spirits to lead them astray. That does not have to be so. As much as you might have been confused for a long time, the truth is, the answer has been within you all the while. One of the beautiful things I learnt about coaching as I attended the John Maxwell Coaching Certification course some years ago was that the Coach believes his clients have the solution to their problems within them and they are simply to ask the right questions to guide them to the answer within them. In order to solve problems, do the following:

1. Believe the answer is looking for you from within you.
Because the Spirit of wisdom is within me, I have a way out within me(Job 32:6-8).

2. Schedule time for meditation.
Time scheduling ensures focus. If only we would devote time to think, many creative ideas would rise to our consciousness. Quiet meditation was habitual for Isaac as a text suggests (Genesis 24:63).

3. Focus your thoughts on Purpose.
What is the purpose of your quiet time? What answer are you looking for? What solution are you seeking? Focus your thoughts throughout on the matter and scriptures relevant to it.

4. Pray for the wisdom of God.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

5. ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS
Be your own coach and ask the right questions. Why do I want it, what is the purpose of God for me in this situation? Is there a biblical precedence for a situation like this? How can God be glorified? Is it biblical? Do I have God’s peace?

6. WRITE DOWN IDEAS COMING TO YOUR MIND
Write down what you hear through the still small voice. Articulate impressions upon your heart. Describe pictures being inspired on your imagination.

7. CHECK YOUR SOLUTION WITH OTHERS
Your spouse, mentor, your godly friends and pastors are in your life to confirm divine direction.

Once the wisdom of God is confirmed, get down to work and obey immediately. The grace of God will be more than sufficient for you in Jesus nae.
